영암군은 지난 25일 ‘제2기 외국인주민 군정 모니터링단’ 발대식을 가졌다.

이 모니터링단은 외국인 주민들의 의견을 군정에 반영하고, 그들의 지역사회 참여를 증진하기 위해 만들어졌다.

2기 모니터링단에는 20명이 참여했으며, 이들은 영암에 1년 이상 거주하고 한국어를 구사할 수 있는 외국인 주민들로 공개 모집을 통해 선발됐다.

이들은 영암군의 외국인주민 지원 정책 홍보, 정책 제안, 의견 수렴, 통·번역 지원 등을 통해 지역사회와 외국인주민 사이의 연결고리 역할을 할 예정이다.

Yeongam Initiates 2nd Foreign Monitor Group

On the 25th, Yeongam County held the inauguration ceremony for the ‘2nd Foreign Resident Monitoring Group’.

This monitoring group was established to reflect the opinions of foreign residents in county administration and to promote their participation in the local community.

20 people participated in the 2nd term monitoring group, who were publicly recruited from foreign residents who have lived in Yeongam for more than a year and can speak Korean.


They plan to serve as a bridge between the local community and foreign residents through activities such as promoting Yeongam County's support policies for foreign residents, proposing policies, collecting opinions, and providing interpretation and translation support.
